Voice Planner (hereinafter "the App") is designed with user privacy as a top priority. All AI-powered task splitting and speech recognition are processed entirely on your device, and neither your voice data nor task content is ever sent to external servers for AI processing. This Privacy Policy explains the information the App handles and your rights as a user.

1. Information We Collect

The App handles the following information. All AI-powered task splitting is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to the Operator's servers.

1.1 Voice Data

  • SFSpeechRecognizer is used to convert speech to text
  • On supported languages, on-device recognition is enforced (requiresOnDeviceRecognition = true), and voice data never leaves your device
  • For a small number of unsupported languages, the App falls back to Apple's first-party online speech recognition; in that case the audio is sent only to Apple's own servers and is never sent to any third-party AI service
  • AI-powered task splitting (Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models) runs entirely on-device — neither your voice data nor task content is sent to external servers for AI processing
  • No voice data or task content is ever sent to the Operator's servers

1.2 Task Data

  • Task names, notes, due dates, categories, recurrence settings, etc.
  • Stored locally on your device using SwiftData
  • When iCloud is enabled, data is synced across your devices via Apple's CloudKit

1.3 Billing Information

  • Processed by Apple through StoreKit 2
  • The Operator only references the subscription status (active/inactive) on the device
  • The Operator has no access to credit card numbers or other payment details

1.4 Device Information

  • Language settings (for localization purposes)
  • Apple Intelligence compatibility status (to determine feature availability)

1.5 Slack Integration Data (Optional Feature)

  • Active only when the user explicitly enables Slack integration from the settings screen
  • Connects to the user's own workspace via Slack OAuth authentication
  • Data retrieved via Slack API: message body, sender display name, channel ID, timestamp
  • Retrieved messages are processed only by Apple Foundation Models (on-device) to generate tasks
  • The App does not write any new data to Slack
  • OAuth tokens are securely stored in the device Keychain
  • Disabling Slack integration immediately revokes and deletes the stored token

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing task management functionality
  • AI-powered automatic task splitting
  • iCloud synchronization across devices
  • Improving app features (based on on-device usage data only)

3. Sharing with Third Parties

Since the App does not use Operator-owned servers for AI processing, no personal information is sent to third parties for AI processing purposes. The App may communicate with the following third-party services:

  • Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models (AI task splitting — fully on-device)
  • Apple iCloud / CloudKit (data synchronization across devices)
  • Apple StoreKit 2 (subscription billing)
  • Apple SFSpeechRecognizer (speech recognition — on-device enforced where supported)
  • Slack API (only when the user has enabled Slack integration, to fetch messages from the user's own Slack workspace)
  • The Operator's inquiry endpoint (kemuri-api.fly.dev) — used only when the user explicitly submits the in-app "Contact" form; the submitted text and device information are then sent

Please refer to each service's own privacy policy for details on how these services handle data. The App does not use any analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • All data is stored in the device's local storage using SwiftData
  • iCloud-synced data is encrypted and protected in accordance with Apple's security standards
  • Since no Operator-owned server performs AI processing, there is no risk of server-side data breaches related to AI processing

5. Data Storage Location

Your data is stored on your device and on Apple's iCloud servers. For details on data handling, including the location of iCloud servers, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights:

  • Deletion: You can delete all data on your device by deleting the app
  • iCloud data management: You can manage and delete the App's iCloud data from Settings > Apple ID > iCloud
  • Speech recognition control: You can disable the App's speech recognition access from Settings > Privacy & Security > Speech Recognition
  • Revoke Slack integration: You can disconnect Slack from within the App's settings, which immediately deletes the stored token
  • Inquiries: For questions or requests regarding your data, please contact support@kemuri.app

7. Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use cookies, web tracking, or advertising identifiers. No mechanisms for tracking user behavior are implemented.

8. Children's Privacy

The App has no age restrictions. If the App is used by children under 13, we recommend parental consent. Since all AI processing happens entirely on the device and no personal information is sent externally for AI processing, the App can be safely used by children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. For material changes, Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance through an in-app notification.
